New library and new office set up

The major event that took place in the current acedemic year includes

  1. Inter district kids meet in the month of september
  2. The all kerala Interschool quiz competition 5th october for S.H.Trophy
  3. The all kerala Interschool shuttle tournament for Mar James Kalasserry memorial trophy on 25th october
  4. The Throwball Competition for girls by kottayam Sahodaya was hosted by S.H Kilimala
The important programmes that are to be held in the coming days include
  1. The 7th Annual Day Celeberation on 25th january between 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm
  2. Send off to the 4th batch of Junior college on 12th January
  3. The Board Exam of XII on Ist month and of class X students in 3rd month
School reopened after the christmas vaccation in the 31st December and on the Ist January classes beginning with the holy Mass.

New office block along with the library is under final touch.

Our Basket Ball Court has become a year old- A friendly match was organised lecturer Believers church team and our school to commonrate due occasion.

S.H Public School & Junior College, Kilimala under the Patronage of the Archbishop of Changanacherry has strength of 1200 students.

  • The academic year 2008-2009 got a sprightly start on 2nd June 2008.
  • Classes X and XII got an earlier start on 28th April 2008.
  • A separate day of initiation for class one and LKG entrants was held on 5-6-2008.
  • S.H Kilimala provides a wide exposure to an array of co-curricular activities.
  • Special gatherings for the parents of the students of Std X & XII were held to make their children aware of their responsibilities.
  • 100% distinctions for Std X is a regular feature of S.H Kilimala, Topper scored 96 % marks.
  • Every year All Kerala Quiz, Basket and Badminton Competitions are held at S.H Kilimala.
  • Onam ,X’mas ,Children’s Day,Gandhi Jayanthi and days of National importance observed.
  • All Kerala Kids Meet for KG Students on September 27th 2008
  • Science,Maths,Music,Debate,Quiz,Nature,Yoga,Kaate& Skating Clubs function vigorously.
  • Class wise PTA was held this year.
  • Former students-majority being in the professional field, observed the Alumini Day on 28th December.
  • Orientation programme and refresher course are arranged every year to revitalize the teachers with latest advancements in the teaching field. Prof.Dr.Sanathanan Velluva guided the teacher’s seminar.
  • Counseling and guidance facilities provided to students.
  • School Annual Day Programe on 23rd January 2009.Former Chief Minister Sri.Ommen Chandi and Archbishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam were the Chief guests. School magazine was released.
