Streams of Plus One classes

As a part of our growth we are really happy to introduce the Plus Two classes from this academic year onwards. The different streams offered are :

Stream I : English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology
Stream II : English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Computer
Entrance Coaching : For Medical & Engineering Students.


	Monday 12th May 2003 to Wednesday 31st March 2004 TERMS *First* Monday 12th May 2003 to Friday 5th September 2003 *Second* Monday 15th September 2003 to Friday 19th December 2003 *Third* Monday 29th December 2003 to Wednesday 31st March 2004


	The following subjects are taught in the school Classes I to VIII English Hindi Malayalam Mathematics Environmental Science I (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) Environmental Science II (History, Civics, Geography) Art (Drawing, Painting, Stitching) Socially Useful Productive Work Physical and Health Education Classes IX and X English (course A) Hindi / Malayalam (course B) Mathematics Science(Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with practicals (course A) Social Science Physical and Health Education Socially Useful Productive Work Art Education


	Transport facilities are available for the conveyance of students to school. School buses ply within a radius of 20Kms.


	BOYS Class I and II White shirt Dark grey shorts Navy blue socks and Black shoes. Class III to X White shirt Dark grey Trousers Navy blue socks and Black shoes. GIRLS Class I to IV White shirt Dark grey pinafore Navy blue socks -[knee high] and black shoes. Class V to X White shirt Dark grey pleated skirt Navy blue socks [knee high] and black shoes.


	The Principal is normally available to parents from 9.15 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days or by prior appointment.


	Students are expected to speak English in the class room as well as in the school compound.


	Teaching of catechism / Moral Instruction is an important part of the curriculum.


	School has a schedule to conduct tests and examinations as shown below Mid-term tests - Middle of each term Terminal examinations- End of the term Portions for each test and examination will be given in advance. In each term a weightage of 20 % is assigned to the Mid-term tests and 80 % for the terminal examinations for each subject.


	School : 9.30 a.m to 3.30 p.m. Office : 9.15 a.m. to 4.30 p.m


	SUPW provides an excellent opportunity for the self development of the pupils. The following areas have been provided for choosing activities under SUPW. Computer Education Gardening Social Service Cooking Health and Hygiene


	Art education is given in the school level to develop the talents which are useful to themselves in particular and to the community at large.


	The school is very keen in giving physical and Health Education to the students as a fulfilment of the proverb 'Sound mind in a sound body'.


	A Social Service unit is effectively functioning in the school. The School extends its helping hand to the needy and under privileged. We strongly believe that love and care for one's brothers appraise the moral value without which the education is meaningless.
